Celebrating the 175th Birthday of Eloise Butler
Eloise Butler—Visionary of Preserving Wild Spaces was created for Friends of the Wildflower Garden to commemorate Eloise Butler’s 175th birthday, August 3rd, 1851. The drawing appears on the cover of The Fringed Gentian newsletter in the Summer, 2026 issue, Volume 74, Number 2, and also in the promotion of events celebrating Eloise Butler’s 175th birthday. Originally hand-drawn in ink and finished with digital color, this limited-edition giclée reproduction is printed with archival ink on acid-free, fine art paper. The print is professionally matted for a standard 16” x 20” frame. Hand-signed and numbered print reproductions from this collection are available at 12” x 16” in quantities of 50, with unnumbered prints for sale thereafter. Limited-edition sizes other than 12” x 16” may also be produced for this artwork in the future. This image may be displayed or distributed in other capacities by the artist and used by Friends of the Wildflower Garden to promote Eloise Butler 175th Birthday Celebration events.
