Limited-Edition Print Reproductions
Originally hand-drawn in ink, limited-edition giclée reproductions are printed with archival ink on an acid free paper with 100% cotton rag media and a bright smooth finish.* Hand-signed and numbered print reproductions from this collection are available at 12” x 16” in quantities of 50, with unnumbered prints for sale thereafter. Limited-edition sizes other than 12” x 16” may also be produced in the future.

Artwork area: 11” x 15” (approx., including empty space)
*Fine art paper of an equivalent quality will be used, if paper described becomes unavailable.
Museum-Quality Matboard
Prints are pre-matted with Crescent RagMat Museum matboard** and cut for a standard 16” x 20” frame. (Frame not included. Please see recommendations below.)
Matt size: 16” x 20” (mat may be trimmed by approximately 1/8th inch)

Framing Guidelines
Local Frame Shop
You can visit a local frame shop in your area to have your matted print professionally framed. You’ll be able to purchase frames with UV acrylic or glass . The mat is sized for a 16” x 20” frame.

Mitrebox Framing Studio (Minneapolis)
For buyers local to the Twin Cities area in Minnesota, I’ve selected two high-quality frames options with UV glass in authentic natural walnut veneer or natural wenge veneer (matte black). For approximately $300† (or slightly more for UV acrylic instead of glass), you can have your print professionally framed. The frame series I selected has an official partnership with One Tree Planted, a reforestation initiative that commits to planting one tree for every purchase. Mitrebox Framing Studio has these recommendations on file, or you can work with them to choose a different frame. Once your print arrives (if purchased online and shipped), you can make an appointment at Mitrebox to review options and they will take care of the rest. This is a woman-owned framing studio and their team is knowledgable and friendly. I love working with them and I’m sure you will too.

Other Framing Options
Gallery-style 16” x 20” frames purchased from a local or chain art supply store are a great option for quality framing at a lower price point. If you plan to purchase a standard 16” x 20” frame from a big box retailer, you will need to remove any pre-cut mat that comes with the frame. While the exterior frame dimensions may be accurate, the interior cut-out for the mat may not be an exact fit for a standard mat size, depending on the frame maker and retailer. Save your receipt in case the matted print does not fit appropriately and you need to purchase a different one. I’ve worked with my local framer to trim the mat slightly so that it is more likely to fit if the inside frame measurement in a factory-produced frame is slightly smaller than anticipated.
Care
Direct Sunlight
Direct sunlight (especially, strong afternoon light) fades and damages artwork and fine art prints. Framing with UV glass offers varying percentages of protection, with Museum Glass being the most effective.
If the art is not protected with high-quality UV glass, you can limit direct sunlight exposure by displaying artwork outside of direct sunlight, or close blinds or shades when sunlight is strongest.
